About RIDGID part 25148
RIDGID part number 25148 is the original-equipment stator, ssp 1000 made for RIDGID tools. It is a genuine factory part, not an aftermarket copy, so it fits and performs the way the tool was designed.
The field (stator) works with the armature to drive the motor. A shorted or burnt field usually shows up as overheating, a burning smell or a tool that will not start.
To make sure 25148 is right for your tool, match it to the parts list (exploded diagram) for your tool's model number. Not sure? Send us your tool's model number and we'll confirm it before you order.
