Overview

This website, truenorthindustrialtools.ca ("the Site"), is operated by Westcoast Tool Sales & Service Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), 4008 Myrtle Street, Burnaby, BC V5C 4G2, operating as TrueNorth Industrial Tool Company. By visiting the Site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Products and Information

Product descriptions, specifications, images and warranty information are provided by, or based on information from, the manufacturers of the products we sell. We work to keep this information accurate, but we don't warrant that all descriptions, specifications or images are complete, current or error-free. Images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the actual product. Where there's a difference, the manufacturer's documentation governs.

2. Pricing and Availability

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and do not include applicable taxes or shipping, which are calculated at checkout. Prices and availability may change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel or refuse any order placed at that price, even after the order is confirmed. We will refund any payment received.

3. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, decline or limit any order, including orders that appear to be placed by resellers or that exceed reasonable quantities. An order is accepted when we ship it or when it is ready for pickup. If we can't fulfil all or part of an order, we'll notify you and refund any amount paid for the unfulfilled items.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of order. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Payments are processed securely through Shopify; we do not store your full card details.

5. Shipping, Freight and Pickup

Shipping options, rates, lead times, freight and pickup terms are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to you or your chosen carrier, or on pickup.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Warranty

Products are covered by their manufacturer's limited warranty, issued by the manufacturer and not by us. We will help you with warranty claims, but warranty coverage, terms and decisions are the manufacturer's. Except for the manufacturer's warranty and any rights you have under applicable law, products are sold without additional warranties from us.

8. Safe Use

Power tools, air tools, torque tools, hydraulic and lifting equipment can cause serious injury if misused. Always read and follow the manufacturer's manual and safety instructions, use appropriate protective equipment, and never exceed rated capacities.

9. Commercial and Volume Quotes

Quotes for commercial and volume orders are valid only for the period and quantities stated in the quote and may be subject to separate written terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product or your use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of use. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

11. Site Content

Brand names, product names and logos shown on the Site, including Bosch, FEIN, FLEX, Milwaukee, Makita, Ingersoll Rand, Chicago Pneumatic, RIDGID, Williams, CDI, Kito, Orbit and Patron, are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify genuine products. You may not copy or reuse content from the Site for commercial purposes without permission.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site at the time of your order applies to that order.
