The Orbit ORL lock nut cylinder holds a load mechanically: once lifted, spin the lock nut down against the cylinder and the load is supported without hydraulic pressure, so the pump can be disconnected for long-term holding. Single-acting, spring return.
- Heat-treated steel saddle
- Hard anodized aluminum piston and cylinder
- Yellow-chromate treated aluminum lock nut
- Stop ring prevents piston over-travel

Why aluminum?
- Up to 60% lighter than a comparable steel cylinder, so it's far easier to carry and position, with less back strain
- Hard anodized aluminum resists corrosion and scoring, even with long field use
- Large bearing surface handles unavoidable side loading
- Rated to 10,000 PSI (700 bar) working pressure
- 3/8" high-flow quick-disconnect coupler
- Built and tested to ANSI B30.1
