About Hitachi / Metabo HPT part 6685403
Hitachi / Metabo HPT part number 6685403 is the original-equipment (hitachi) clutch housing made for Metabo HPT tools. It is a genuine factory part, not an aftermarket copy, so it fits and performs the way the tool was designed.
Impact and clutch mechanism parts take the heaviest shock loads in the tool. Worn parts show up as weak impacting, a sloppy anvil or sockets that will not stay on.
